Only Austrian Regional Airport to Offer Flights in the BA-Network
BA Euroflyer offers new summer connection from London to Salzburg/ easyJet and Ryanair also offer services to Great Britain/ London becomes central destination in Salzburg`s summer flight program
Salzburg Airport is still in the middle of the winter season, but can already promote its summer flight program with a clear focus on Great Britain. oneworld partner British Airways will fly to London Gatwick three times a week, EasyJet twice a week and Ryanair will offer four weekly flight connections to London Stansted. In addition, there will be flights from Manchester and Birmingham to Salzburg.
British Airways and Salzburg Airport are continuing their cooperation in the summer. The flight connection to London with BA Euroflyer will thus be an important component in the year-round flight program of Salzburg Airport. „British Airways plays an important role for the positive development of the upcoming summer flights to Great Britain. Salzburg is the first regional Airport in Austria offering flights operated by BA Euroflyer. In addition, easyJet will be offering services to London Gatwick as well as Ryanair to London Stansted. We will once again have a very strong focus on flights to Great Britain this year”, says Airport Manager Christopher Losmann.
British Airways has been one of Salzburg Airport's most reliable airline partners since 1999. This summer, Salzburg and Bavarian passengers have a broad range of flights to London with different airlines. British Airways also offers a great number of flight connections within the oneworld route network. „Great Britain is one of the most important markets for Austria and Bavaria. The flights with BA Euroflyer to London attract business travelers as well as holidaymakers. I am convinced that many English guests will make use of this offer and visit the local recreational areas as well as make use of the various cultural offers”, Losmann adds.
Offering nearly 40 destinations in total, BA Euroflyer is the London-Gatwick-based subsidiary of British Airways, offering the same premium service for which Britsh Airways is well known. The airline offers both business and economy seats on all short-haul flights.
