On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of ICAO and the signing of the Chicago Convention, numerous international organizations and leading companies in the aviation industry have come together to commit to the vision of an even better tomorrow.
Among the first 43 organizations and companies to sign the "Aviation4All" Declaration is Salzburg Airport W. A. Mozart, Austria's largest regional airport. The present document of the Aviation4All Declaration, issued by the International Aviation Forum (IAF), addresses the key aspects of commercial aviation to ensure sustainable and prosperous growth. In addition to environmental commitments for "Net Zero," improved inclusivity and diversity in the workplace, and enhanced safety and protection measures to safeguard passengers, customers, and staff, the declaration also covers topics such as increased global accessibility, the introduction of seamless technology-based solutions, and improved operational performance to minimize service disruptions. One of the main points is the expanded reach of aviation to connect a larger percentage of the global population, thereby increasing the positive societal impact.
The "Aviation4All" Declaration aims to create shared milestones for the future of the aviation industry. The entire industry is at a turning point today and must unite around a feasible and achievable vision for the future. The first 43 organizations are just the beginning! As one of the first signatories, Salzburg Airport sees this path of common goals as an important strategic milestone, as the more partners rely on this Declaration, the more likely the needs and necessities for a vibrant and healthy aviation future will be recognized by global decision-makers.
