easyJet operates flight to Barcelona
easyJet rounds off summer flight program in Salzburg with Barcelona / Every Tuesday and Saturday from Salzburg to El Prat Airport / easyJet route Salzburg-Berlin already bookable in winter
Air traffic in Salzburg has already picked up noticeably and finally Salzburg and Bavarian guests can take off again to go on vacation. The summer flight program now offers an additional highlight.
"The Corona pandemic has also opened up new opportunities for Salzburg Airport. We were able to convince easyJet to offer a direct flight from Salzburg to Barcelona, which means that we are finally directly connected to the Catalonian capital again after many years," says Airport Manager and Head of Traffic & Sales, Christopher Losmann.
easyJet is known for attractive fares and this direct connection will be offered until the end of October.
"Barcelona is and was one of our top desired destinations and the demand is already very high! This is not surprising, as Barcelona is a very vibrant city, which inspires everyone with its beautiful environment," Isabella Laimer, Vice President Marketing & Sales Salzburg Airport.
Operating flights to Barcelona, easyJet is offering a top European destination this summer.
"We are very pleased to be able to offer direct flights from Salzburg to Barcelona - one of the most popular destinations in the Mediterranean," said Thomas Haagensen, Managing Director of easyJet Europe.
In winter, easyJet plans to fly to Hamburg, London, Bristol and Amsterdam in addition to the connection to Berlin (BER). Flights are already available for booking.
