Workplace health is a major focus at the airport.
The Austrian Network for Workplace Health Promotion invited the most innovative exemplary companies to the BGF Award ceremony at the MuseumsQuartier in Vienna on May 17, 2023.
From a total of 1,314 quality seal companies, 25 companies were selected and honored for implementing and living health promotion in their company in a particularly impressive way. Salzburg Airport was also honored for its special efforts in the area of workplace health promotion.
Salzburg Airport has been implementing projects and measures to maintain and promote the health of its employees for many years. In addition to adapting the operational structure, employees are motivated to take responsibility for their own health behavior. There is also a focus on transition management, an area that is becoming increasingly important, not least due to demographic developments.
