Theassaloniki expands Greece-Program
With Thessaloniki another Greek destination in the summer flight program/ Six Greek islands from Salzburg/ Eurowings as an important airline partner on numerous sunny routes
From May 13, the extensive Greece program from Salzburg will be further strengthened by a new flight connection to Thessaloniki. The flight will take off from Salzburg at 08:10 and land in Thessaloniki at 11:05. Eurowings will take off again for Salzburg just under 40 minutes later, landing in the city of Mozart at 12:55. “The summer is becoming more and more colorful, especially the offers with sun, beach and sea are very popular and are often booked. Greece has long been one of the top summer destinations from Salzburg, so another island destination comes at just the right time, as Salzburgers and Bavarians are planning their 2023 summer vacation now and in the coming weeks,” says airport proxy Christopher Losmann.
The second largest city in Greece is considered the cultural and economic center of the Macedonia region. The new direct connection will be offered on Saturdays by airline partner Eurowings. A total of six Greek islands are also on the flight schedule, including Karpathos, Kos, Corfu and Zakynthos. Crete and Rhodes are even served three times a week.
In addition to numerous sun destinations such as Larnaca, Calvi, Hurghada, Antalya and Mallorca, the Balearic island of Ibiza is also NEW this summer. The program also includes numerous city destinations such as Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Lübeck, Amsterdam, Istanbul, London and Dubai. Exciting destinations all over the world can also be reached via the major international hubs.
