Peter Pan Holiday Foundation at the Salzburg Airport
In a joint campaign with the Peter Pan Holiday Foundation, the airport's long-standing airline partner brought a group of chronically ill young people from Eindhoven to Salzburg. The teens arrived at Salzburg Airport together with seven accompanying people to travel on from here to Flachau for skiing.
The Peter Pan Holiday Foundation was set up for chronically ill children and young people who are unable to go on vacation easily. With partners such as the airline Transavia and appropriate preparation, a vacation together is also possible for children who are confronted with restrictions in everyday life due to their illness. The children can share their experiences with other patients during their vacation and learn to cope better with their illness.
Salzburg Airport is delighted that the group chose Salzburg as their destination and opted for a skiing vacation in one of the surrounding recreational areas.
