Oasis on the Red Sea enchants with exotic charm, Marsa Alam will be served by Eurowings from 26 October. Lufthansa subsidiary enriches winter flight schedule with second Egypt destination.
It doesn't always have to be snow and ice in the cold season, because Eurowings is making people sit up and take notice with a new sun destination for the coming winter flight timetable period. “With the new flight connection to sunny Marsa Alam, fans of culture as well as sun lovers and water sports enthusiasts will get their money's worth. With a second Eurowings destination in Egypt, passengers can discover the full beauty of the Red Sea for themselves from October,” says Christopher Losmann, authorized signatory of the airport, about the addition to the winter flight offer. Sweaters and winter jackets can safely stay at home, as temperatures of around 30° will entice sun-seekers to the Egyptian coastline for a very special vacation.
Marsa Alam is not only known for its fascinating underwater world, but also for its historical sights, archaeological sites, pristine beaches and crystal-clear water. Divers in particular can dive into a unique water world on the Egyptian coast and take home colorful underwater experiences. The nearby Wadi-al-Gamal and Gebel-Elba national parks round off the variety of adventure options near the small town on the Red Sea. Another sunny destination on the Red Sea is Hurghada. “There is good news here too, as there will be up to four flights a week to Hurghada this winter,” Losmann continues. The flight offer to the Canary Islands to Tenerife and Gran Canaria starts at the beginning of October and Dubai can be reached all year round from Salzburg. Direct flights to major European cities such as London, Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Istanbul and Belgrade, along with many other destinations, expand the wide range of winter flights from Salzburg.
