EU Council Presidency was handed over to Austrian Chancellor, Sebastian Kurz
At 8:00 am on Saturday the Bulgarian Prime Minister, Bojko Borissow, landed at Salzburg Airport with his entourage. Right after landing, the convoy left for Schladming, where the transition of the EU Council Presidency took place.
Hardly 15 minutes later, the aircraft of Donald Franciszek Tusk, President of the European Council, arrived at the airport. State Governor Dr. Wilfried Haslauer and Bettina Ganghofer, CEO of Salzburg Airport, welcomed the High Representative, bevor they continued their journey to Schladming, where the EU Council presidency was officially handed over to Austrian Chancellor, Sebastian Kurz.
