Janine Kranz represents the “Gateway to the West” as a new addition to the extended board
At the General Assembly in Vienna on March 28, 2024, the existing leadership of the Austrian Business Travel Association (ABTA) was unanimously re-elected for a further term of office by the association's members. This means that President Roman Neumeister and the two Vice Presidents Sabine Toplak and Angela Lille will continue to lead the ABTA for the next two years.
In addition to the top management, several new additions to the extended ABTA board were also officially announced. Janine Kranz was elected to the Board for Salzburg Airport, which is regarded as the gateway to the West. Janine Kranz is responsible for Outgoing Travel in the Marketing & Sales team at Salzburg Airport, i.e. all trips departing from Salzburg, both business and leisure travel. She looks after tour operators and travel agencies - leisure and business - as well as companies with business travel and strives to make Salzburg Airport's offerings as well-known as possible. Janine Kranz's tasks also include surveying demand in the entire catchment area of Salzburg Airport - around 200 km in the vicinity of the airport.
“We are delighted to welcome Janine Kranz, a long-standing supporter of the ABTA, to an official role in our association. Not only are we gaining a great deal of additional expertise and an enormous wealth of experience for the ABTA, but I am also particularly pleased about this new addition on a personal level. I am also convinced that with this appointment we will be able to offer our members and the industry as a whole a very high-caliber local contact in the western federal states and thus further strengthen the role of the Austrian Business Travel Association for the domestic business travel world,” says a delighted Roman Neumeister, President of ABTA.
The Austrian platform for business travel - ABTA is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year - regularly presents itself at numerous ABTA Business Travel Lounges throughout Austria, including regularly at Salzburg Airport. This provides the opportunity to emphasize ABTA's role as a network for domestic business travel.
With Janine Kranz, a long-standing travel expert and high-class contact for the western federal states is now also represented on the ABTA board. Salzburg Airport congratulates her on her success!
